Known for his vendor-neutral approach to consulting, Simmons focuses on helping businesses align strategy, operations, technology, and data into scalable, measurable outcomes. His work centers on operational transformation, digital enablement, AI strategy, infrastructure advisory, and growth consulting for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and emerging organizations.
With a background spanning business development, technology systems, analytics, communications, and organizational leadership, Simmons has built a reputation for bridging the gap between executive vision and practical execution. Through BlueprintIQ, he advocates for clarity-first consulting — emphasizing long-term sustainability, strategic alignment, and real-world operational improvement over one-size-fits-all solutions.
In addition to his corporate leadership, Simmons is deeply engaged in community-focused initiatives through BlueprintIQ Collective, where he supports entrepreneurship, workforce development, digital literacy, and economic empowerment throughout underserved communities in the Southern United States.

She holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Office Administration from Southwest Tennessee Community College and is recognized for her dedication to operational excellence and team support. A devoted mother of two, Karen enjoys baking, reading, and playing cards and games with friends—activities that help her maintain a balanced and joyful life. Known for her warm, welcoming nature, she lives by the motto, "I may not be perfect, but parts of me are excellent," and strives to bring excellence to everything she does, both at home and at work. Karen deeply values BlueprintIQ's commitment to serving clients in a professional yet authentic way, and she takes pride in contributing to that mission every day.
Bernie Johnson
Business Advisor

Previously led customer service and credit divisions for Wachovia Corporation, Fleet/Boston, and Bank of America. Skilled in staff development, conceptualizing strategic direction, and developing tactical business plans to stimulate profitable growth. Earned a BA degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa. Served on the faculty of the University of Iowa and City College of San Francisco. Also has been active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Chicago and the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago.

Outside of work, Mahmoud enjoys teaching and has served as a university instructor in business and management courses.
